About Our Instructors


Elizabeth Xing

(Violin, Viola, and Piano)

Elizabeth has been playing the piano since 5 years old, and has received multiple awards in yearly competitions. She started the violin at 11, and then switched to viola, receiving a ranking of one at state, as well as performing with the Ladue Strolling Strings Group. Elizabeth even taught herself guitar during medical school, and is an avid runner.

Will Hanson

(Guitar, piano, Drums, Vocal instruction & Music Theory)

Will Hanson grew up in California, growing up he had exposure to all sorts of music. His Father owned a music store so Will had access to play all kinds of instruments. He spent 3 years at Ventura College earning his credential in music but has gained countless experience playing, touring, recording and being involved with many bands. Will plays and listens to every genre imaginable. As for teaching, Will has a love for music and teaching, The students goals become his goals and wants students to get the most from each and every lesson. Will enjoys creating a pleasant and inspiring environment always striving to grow his musical passion with others.



Tanner Jones

(Guitar, Bass, & Ukelele)

(Drums, Guitar, Bass Piano, & Ukelele)

Michael is endorsed by SJC drums, TRX cymbals, DrumDial Tuners, and Great Leather drum stick bags. His bands, The Comancheros and A Hill to Die Upon, have played in Norway, Mexico, England, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Switzerland, France, Belgium, and Slovakia.

John Roberts

(Drums, Guitar, Piano, and Bass)

John Roberts is a seasoned music instructor and dedicated working musician with a passion for providing professional, tailored lessons. With over eight years of teaching experience across all age groups, John brings a dynamic and conversational approach to music education. He offers lessons in guitar, bass, keyboards, and drum kit, ensuring that each session is adapted to the student's unique needs and musical aspirations.

As an active performer and recording artist, John boasts a decade of experience playing in various bands. Currently, he serves as the guitarist and vocalist for King Socks, where he not only performs but also takes on the roles of recording, engineering, mixing, and mastering his records. In addition, John showcases his versatility as the keyboard player for Dream Squeeze. His hands-on involvement in both live performance and studio production enriches his lessons with real-world insights and professional expertise.
